Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are the boxer shorts made of?
A: We offer 3 types of boxers to print on. Additional details are available on the pricing pages:
- Flannel boxers for youth and adult
- Knit cotton boxers for adults
- Woven cotton boxers for adults
Q: What can be printed on the boxer shorts?
A: We can print text, graphics, logos and images. Using a single ink color is less expensive than multiple colors. We can print multi-colored graphics and logos.
Q: Can you do all-over prints?
A: No. At this time, we do not offer all-over prints.
Q: Can you print on a waistband?
A: We do not offer printing on the waistband. In our experience, we have found that the long term durability of the printing does not hold up.
Q: Can I order just a few items and what is the cost?
A: Our minimum order of screen printed items is 24 pieces. Producing fewer than 24 is not cost effective due to set-up and other production costs.
Q: We need 100 pair now and might need a few more later. Will the price be the same?
A: No. Pricing is based on each order and is not cumulative. A re-order must meet the minimum order quantities on the re-order. We always recommend that you order a few extra pair.
Q: Can you help me design the logo?
A: Yes, we have an artist who can work with you to design a logo. We also have many stock logos available. Orders include design of simple art. For complex designs, hourly art charges may apply.
Q: What does camera-ready artwork mean?
A: Camera-ready art is basically clean artwork that is the logo or design of what you are looking to have printed on the garment. It has no other colors or shading. It can be scanned into a computer. Usually business cards are too small to use for scanning a logo. Artwork generated in a computer will usually work will but must be in one of several formats including EPS, FH, PDF, JPEG, GIF and TIFF and should be a high resolution copy. For multi-color images, we recommend sending a vector graphic as an eps if available to allow us to best separate the colors for printing.
Q: How long to do orders normally take?
A: Production time normally takes about two weeks. If we guarantee your order by a particular date we will do our best to meet that date. In the last 5 years, we have not missed a committed date.
Q: Can I return some of them if I don't use them all?
A: Since these are custom products, we cannot accept any returns.
Q: Can I get a sample of the item?
A: A $25 non-refundable deposit is required for all samples. The $25 can be applied to an order if the sample is returned. You can ask for an unprinted (blank) sample or a printed sample from another job. Printed samples with your logo are not available.
Q: How does the process work?
A: Here are the steps:
- You: review the info on our site, decide on the items and submit the information.
- Us: will contact you for additional details and to arrange for the art to be presented in a "proof" which will be sent to you.
- You: will receive a paper proof of the art showing how it will look. It will also include the details of your order for your approval.
- You: will approve (or revise) the proof and will provide a 50% deposit for the printing to start.
- Us: will print the items, package them and ship them to you. UPS Ground service to the U.S. is included. If faster shipping is required, you will pay the cost difference between UPS Ground and the service requested.
Q: Can I cancel an order if I change my mind?
A: You can cancel an order up until the time printing commences. Once an order is printed, there can be no cancellations. A restocking fee of 30% will be charged if an order is cancelled between acceptance of the proof, but before the start of printing.
